On December 6th you have an essential appointment with the culture of oil in Priorat: ENTRE OLIVERES<\/strong> , a unique experience to discover how a top quality extra virgin olive oil<\/strong> is born. A day that combines oil tourism, wine tourism and local gastronomy<\/strong> , ideal for families, nature lovers and curious people who want to know the world of oil from the inside. <\/p>\n

We harvest olives and live the experience in the field<\/h3>\n

The day will begin among the olive fields that surround Cornudella de Montsant<\/strong> , in a spectacular autumn landscape, with the warm colors of the vineyard and the Montsant mountains as a backdrop. We will learn to recognize the Arbequina olive, the most prized variety of our territory, and we will participate in the traditional olive harvest<\/g> . You will be able to feel under your hands the fruit that will give rise to one of the most beloved products of our land: EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)<\/strong> . <\/p>\n

To gain strength, we will enjoy a farmer’s breakfast<\/strong> with local products: bread with tomato, artisanal sausages and, of course, a tasting of our new olive oil. A true delight that will connect you with the most authentic flavors of Priorat. <\/p>\n

From the field to the cellar: the art of making oil and wine<\/h3>\n

After the immersion in the countryside, we will move to the Celler Cooperatiu de Cornudella de Montsant<\/strong> , a jewel of agrarian modernism and symbol of our town. There we will experience a journey through the oil production process<\/g> : from the reception of the olives, their pressing and decanting, to obtaining the extra virgin olive oil<\/g> that we are so passionate about. You will discover why quality begins on the olive tree and how every detail of the process is key to achieving an excellent product. <\/p>\n

You will also take the opportunity to visit the winery and taste some of its wines<\/strong> , an experience that unites the winemaking tradition of Priorat with the olive growing culture, showing the best of our land.<\/p>\n

Your jar of Arbequina olives: a souvenir to take home<\/h3>\n

To end the day, we will make our own jar of preserved Arbequina olives<\/strong> . You will learn how to prepare them so that they retain all their flavor and you will be able to take home a delicious souvenir of this experience. <\/p>\n
