Saturday, August 29, at 12 noon , the terrace of the Celler Cooperatiu de Cornudella de Montsant will become the perfect space to discover, glass in hand, three of the wines born from the new 2025 harvest. 🍷
We invite you to the Tasting of New Wines – Harvest 2025 , an experience designed for all those people who want to get to know the wines of the DO Montsant better, discover new productions and get closer to the work behind each bottle.
During the tasting you will be able to discover three very different wines, but with one element in common: all three are an expression of the territory of Cornudella de Montsant and the work of the farmers who are part of our Cooperative.
8c+ White: 100% red grenache
We will start with the 8c+ Blanc, one of the Celler’s most unique wines. Made with red garnatxa, a minority variety and especially linked to the town of Cornudella de Montsant, this wine allows us to discover one of the most interesting expressions of this variety.
A Grenache that we take special care of and that allows us to produce a fresh, elegant and personality-filled white wine. A good opportunity to get to know an unusual variety and discover the full potential of the white wines of northern Montsant.
Castell de Siurana White: 100% Macabeo
The second protagonist will be the new Castell de Siurana Blanc, the great novelty of the 2025 harvest.
A 100% Macabeu white wine, made with grapes from the vineyards of the Cooperative’s members. Vineyards located in different terrains and altitudes in the municipality of Cornudella that provide the wine with a great diversity of aromas and nuances.
Castell de Siurana Blanc was born with the desire to reclaim Macabeu, a historical variety from our vineyards, and offer a new look at the white wines made in the Celler.
Part of the wine has rested in French oak barrels, providing complexity and a rounder, silkier texture.
The 3 Grenaches: three varieties, one territory
And we will complete the tasting with one of the most special additions to the Celler’s catalog: The 3 Grenaches .
A wine that starts from an idea as simple as it is singular: bringing together in the same production the three Grenaches grown by the members of the Cooperative: white Grenache, red Grenache and black Grenache.
Three varieties, three different expressions of the grape and the same land. The result is a winemaking that allows us to play with the diversity of the Grenaches and show, in a single glass, the varietal richness of our vineyards.
At the gates of the 2026 harvest, an appointment to discover wines from the past harvest.
This Tasting of New Wines – Harvest 2025 is much more than a wine tasting. It is an invitation to discover what happens between the vineyard and the glass, to learn about new productions and to share a quiet moment on the terrace of our winery.
