On December 6th you have an essential appointment with the culture of oil in Priorat: ENTRE OLIVERES , a unique experience to discover how a top quality extra virgin olive oil is born. A day that combines oil tourism, wine tourism and local gastronomy , ideal for families, nature lovers and curious people who want to know the world of oil from the inside.

We harvest olives and live the experience in the field

The day will begin among the olive fields that surround Cornudella de Montsant , in a spectacular autumn landscape, with the warm colors of the vineyard and the Montsant mountains as a backdrop. We will learn to recognize the Arbequina olive, the most prized variety of our territory, and we will participate in the traditional olive harvest . You will be able to feel under your hands the fruit that will give rise to one of the most beloved products of our land: EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) .

To gain strength, we will enjoy a farmer’s breakfast with local products: bread with tomato, artisanal sausages and, of course, a tasting of our new olive oil. A true delight that will connect you with the most authentic flavors of Priorat.

From the field to the cellar: the art of making oil and wine

After the immersion in the countryside, we will move to the Celler Cooperatiu de Cornudella de Montsant , a jewel of agrarian modernism and symbol of our town. There we will experience a journey through the oil production process : from the reception of the olives, their pressing and decanting, to obtaining the extra virgin olive oil that we are so passionate about. You will discover why quality begins on the olive tree and how every detail of the process is key to achieving an excellent product.

You will also take the opportunity to visit the winery and taste some of its wines , an experience that unites the winemaking tradition of Priorat with the olive growing culture, showing the best of our land.

Your jar of Arbequina olives: a souvenir to take home

To end the day, we will make our own jar of preserved Arbequina olives . You will learn how to prepare them so that they retain all their flavor and you will be able to take home a delicious souvenir of this experience.

Saturday, June 1 at 12:30 p.m., we will present the new vintages of Les Troies white and rosé, and we will do it on the renovated “terat del vi ranci”, a space that we have conditioned to enjoy the “Virmuts” view on Sundays at noon .

The white Trojans. Clean, clear, with greenish tones and golden reflections. On the nose we will find aniseeds, fennel and freshness of white fruit. And in the mouth it is a voluminous white, fat, pear, with memories of wild herbs such as rosemary.

The pink Trojans. Bright and clean, medium layer rosé. On the nose we will find sour, fresh red fruit, citrus fruits and wild strawberries. Light sweetness, glyceric and balanced acidity. In the mouth we will discover acidic, fresh red fruit, citrus fruits and wild strawberries.

Easter is coming up and we have scheduled extra visits to the winery and the store will be opening hours.
