On the occasion of Benvinguts a Pagès – La Festa 2026 , we open the doors of the Celler Cooperatiu de Cornudella de Montsant so that you can discover, in a quick, enjoyable way and suitable for the whole family, one of the most emblematic buildings of Catalonia’s wine heritage.
During this express visit we will visit some of the most representative spaces of our Wine Cathedral , a modernist jewel built by the architect Cèsar Martinell, a disciple of Antoni Gaudí, which has been part of the history and landscape of Cornudella de Montsant for more than a hundred years.
We will explain how our cooperative was born, what makes this building so unique and what role the vineyard, wine and farming have played in the lives of hundreds of families in the town over several generations.
30 minutes to discover more than 100 years of history
In just thirty minutes we will enter the impressive interior spaces of the winery, discover the old vats and get to know the facilities where we have made our wines for decades.
In a very visual and understandable way, we will explain how the grapes reach the winery, what the main phases of winemaking are and how today we bring tradition and innovation together in a cooperative with more than a century of history.
An experience for the whole family
We have designed this activity so that both adults and children can enjoy the experience.
At the end of the visit, adults can taste one of our wines 🍷, while the little ones can toast with a must made with grapes from the 2026 harvest. A fun way to introduce them to the culture of the vineyard and the flavors of our territory.
